Mission
LifeLab works with people and communities, with particular attention to women and youth, through initiatives in health, education and work. Its approach includes livelihoods, agriculture, skills development and empowerment, with the aim of reducing exclusion, expanding opportunities and supporting more equitable and resilient communities.
Values
LifeLab is committed to sustainable and inclusive development while respecting human dignity and the rights of the people and communities with whom it works. Its approach is guided by the following values:
Mutual Respect
Treating people with dignity, courtesy and consideration regardless of differences in background, beliefs, gender, age or experience. Mutual respect means listening to people, valuing their perspectives and encouraging dialogue and peaceful collaboration.
Responsibility and Responsiveness
Responding to the needs and concerns of individuals and communities while recognizing the impact of our actions. LifeLab seeks to remain attentive to changing needs and to respond through practical, responsible and community-centered action.
